Trick or Treat 2010

Here is the Trick or Treat crew! The kids had a good time and of course got their share of candy.
Chloe and Clara
Roarrrrr.....
Gavin did a great job Trick or Treating. He was absolutely adorable.

Tyler & Logan the vampire

Corrine, Chloe & Clara
Gavin and Uncle Scott
Didn't expect to see a snake while Trick or Treating. Chloe was so excited to get this picture because she is going to take it into school to tease her teacher who really dislikes snakes. What a little jokester she is.
Tyler and the snake
Gavin (the monkey) - Got to love the banana in the pocket.

Blake the Lion
Aww, cousin love before Gavin heads home.

Chloe Correction

I must correct myself. When I went to wake Chloe up today to get ready for church it turned out she did wear the Donald Duck costume to bed! What a silly girl.

Good morning sunshine or should I say Donald!

Not sure why she thought it would be a good idea to sit in the clothes basket!

What great siblings to help her out.
Oops, the shirt came but she is still stuck.

Success!! What excitement to start a Sunday morning. LOL.....

Eugene & Betty's Halloween Bash

All of us were to attend Eugene & Betty's Annual Halloween Bash, but with Blake under the weather we weren't able to go. Haley and I stopped by after her dance at school just for a couple of minutes to see everyone. It was a hopping party and everyone's costumes looked great.
Grandma, Haley and Daniel
Check out Grandma the hippie! Love it!
Grandma and Melinda the hairdresser.

LMS Halloween Dance

Haley had a Halloween Dance at school. Grandma Tyler gave her the Donald Duck costume that she made for me when I was in sixth grade in 1987! It still looks great for being so old. LOL.... She looked so cute, but wasn't feeling too confident walking into the school.
Haley texting her friend asking where she is.
Feeling like she should have worn her ketchup bottle costume. LOL....
Haley with her friends. Notice the smile on her face. She survived and had fun.

Chloe takes over Donald Duck

Chloe took over the Donald Duck costume. She has so much fun and wore it until bedtime.

She has fallen and can't get up.
Tyler took the bottom of the costume to try it on for size. He thought it would be amusing to sit on the other half of Donald. As you can see Chloe was not amused!

Annual Pumpkin Carving

The kids couldn't wait to carve their pumpkins. Blake missed the action because he was taking an all important nap. He has been under the weather fighting a fever on and off for two days. We are hoping he feels better soon.
Pumpkin, pumpin everywhere.....
Scooping out the insides is the best. The kids can't wait for the baked pumpkin seeds.
Wow look at all those seeds!
Haley carved her pumpkin. Tyler and Chloe drew their designs, carved a little and then had Dad help finish them up.

Chloe wanted a tongue on her pumpkin just like Haley.

Haley's Volleyball Banquet

We had a very nice gathering for the volleyball banquet. After having dinner the awards were given. Haley was the last one called up and it turned out her teammates voted for her to be the MVP. The coach said the girls asked what she considered the MVP player to be and her response to them was "It should be a player that if she was not on the team the team would fall apart." On our ride home Haley said that made her feel so good. Brad and I were so proud but most importantly Haley should be proud of her accomplishments. Haley is truly a great kid!

Haley listening to what coach is saying about her.

Outside Again

We have truly enjoyed the great October weather. It is hard to believe it is warm enough for short sleeves and shorts.
Dad and Tyler playing catch

Nice kick

Tossing rocks in the driveway.
Chloe
Yippeee...
By the looks of this pic Blake tips right over the side. Not the case though. He really enjoys the slide. We thought it was cute how he closed his eyes in most of the pictures.

Our pumpkins are waiting for the big carving day that will take place a closer to Halloween.
Tyler was so sweaty from playing catch with Dad.
