The Saturday after Thanksgiving was our Tyler Family Christmas Party. This year was just as memorable as the previous events. The Christmas season is not about the gifts we receive or the gifts we give, but rather the time we cherish with our family and the blessing we have been given. We love to spend time with our family and every year are amazed at how quickly the family is growing! Wishing every a Merry Christmas and Blessed Holiday Season!
Great Grandma and all the grand kids with their spouses.
Great Grandma and all the great grand kids. As you can see some of the little ones were not impressed with the picture taking and just wanted a nice quiet nap!
Megan made this Tyler picture for Great Grandma. All of the pictures are significant and show each letter of the family name. The "T" is farmhouse street sign, "Y" is Great Grandma, "L" is Great Grandmas hand, "E" is the kitchen cupboard, and "R" is from Great Grandpa's grave stone. What a beautiful gift and wonderful idea!

Enjoying the meal and love the shirt buttoned all the way Tyler. :~)
What a crowd......
Our Christmas party ended up falling at the same day and time of the Ohio State & Michigan football game. As you can imagine quite a few people were fretting about the conflict all the way up to the event. As you can see by the big screen a set up was figured out and all was happy and even more so since the game was an absolute blow-out.
Blake receiving his gift from Great Grandma and Aunt Barb.
The kids opening their gift. Chloe was too quick getting hers that I missed my picture opportunity.
Tyler receiving his gift from Great Grandma. Aunt Margaret is making sure she gets plenty of pictures too.
Haley receiving her gift from Aunt Barb and Great Grandma. Melanie had the perfect seat to see all the action.
After this kids got their gifts Great Grandma gave her kids their boxes. Tradition has been that they receive things from the farm. It is always a trip down memory lane. This year Dad got a box of books. Some dated back to the early 1900s. He even got one of the books he read quite a bit as a kid. Always fun.

Sean lost his wedding band and asked that the kids try to help find it. The girls took it so seriously that they mapped out all the tables and tried to draw possible paths that the ring might have rolled. Of course their map drawing and meetings were held privately in the girls restroom so the boys didn't get any ideas. LOL..... (When we left the ring was still MIA.)
