Summer animals

We had a robin and three babies by the deck. We enjoyed watching them get bigger and seeing their mommy feed them.

We get to enjoy a doe and two fawns almost every evening.  We love to see them coming into the orchard to eat the apples and then head across the street to go into the fields for the night.  The doe seems to even look both ways before crossing the street.  So cute. 

 Tyler and Chloe found a really neat caterpillar and put it in the bug keeper.  They actually got to watch it form a chrysalis and then the beautiful butterfly.  We of course released the butterfly and actually see it periodically. 

If you look very closely the butterfly is flying right above Tyler's shoulder.   

Tyler's First Paintball Experience

Tyler and his friend Elliot played with a bunch of freshman boys.  It was Elliot's brother's group of friends.  Tyler had a great time and it sounds as if he held his own too. I loved that the place they went took photos of the group as they played so we could see Tyler in action.

Baseball

Tyler's first year of baseball... on a team of 10-14 year olds! Quite the age difference. some of the boys he is playing with are going to be freshmen next school he. He will be in 4th grade... Gotta learn on the fly!
